Papers

We offer three high quality paper options to choose from. Each archival print is output using our EPSON UltraChrome pigment print process. The process uses a total of eleven different inks, ensuring that even the minutest details are visible, and the colors appear freshly printed. Each paper has a 80+ year archival rating from the Wilhelm Institution.

EPSON Premium Photo – A favorite among nature and landscape photographers who require extreme sharpness and clarity.

MOAB Metallic Pearl – Designed with an incredible Dmax and rich color gamut, this photographic paper features a unique metallic surface that provides extreme sharpness and depth.

MOAB Silver Metallic – Ultra shiny, true metallic inkjet paper – Metallic silver adds unprecedented depth to an image featuring exceptional reflective shine never seen before. This metal-like surface produces images that jump off the paper.

Substrate

Acrylic Face-Mounts are the perfect presentation for galleries and exhibitions. All of the best characteristics of your image are intensified when mounted under acrylic. Our standard face-mounts include 1/4” acrylic substrate, CNC precision cut edges, 1/8″ acrylic protective backer and our 3/4“ deep rear mounted frame. This provides a high-end, maximum effect for the display. Lots of presence, unbelievable depth and intensified, vibrant colors.

Care & Handling

• Spot-clean with a dry lint-free or micro-fiber cloth by wiping in a soft, circular motion.
• Cleans like glass—no special acrylic cleaner required. When needed, use a non-ammonia glass cleaner.
• Do NOT use an acrylic cleaner or polishing agent.
• Do NOT try to hand polish or buff scratches in this product as it may cause damage to the coating

Process

Our skilled production team permanently Facemounts each print to the reverse side of the acrylic substrate. The optically  clear mounting adhesive bonds the materials, seals and protects the print. This is a top of the line solution for displaying photos.  Due to the high level of difficulty it’s only offered by a limited number of printers worldwide.

Experience – Facemounting is a labor intensive process that takes precision, skill and patience.  A lot of patience. We’ve been working diligently for over 12 years to master the process.  From mini 5″ x 7″ prints, to giant 5′ x 10′ master pieces, we’ve produced thousands of Facemounts in all shapes and sizes.

Quality Materials – There’s no substitute for quality.  We use only the best materials available from the leading manufacturers.  The end result is a product that will last the test of time.

Crafted in San Diego – All of our Facemounts are produced in-house in our San Diego facility.  We have full control of each step and never outsource. With a little help from our state-of-the-art printers and CNC machine we handcraft each Facemount from start to finish.

Hanging

IVA’s Acrylic Facemount’s arrive ready-to-hang complete with our inset 3/4” deep rear mounted frame and Z-Bar cleat.  The robust and lightweight metal frame won’t warp over time and hangs seamlessly with the Z-Bar cleat.  The artwork floats off the wall giving it a sleek weightless presentation.

IVA Standard Sizes

Our standard Acrylic Facemount sizes offer the best value and turnaround. By using standard size materials, we can precut our sheet stock, maximize yields, and quickly assemble your order when it comes in. Turnaround time is faster since we can use off-the-shelf materials that don’t need custom preparation. Standard sizing minimizes waste of materials which means we can offer our best price. Please allow for a variance of up to 1/4” from the listed size.
